Mick is a formal endorser of Fret-King Guitars and below is an interview he did for Vintage & Rare while at the NAMM Show in Anaheim California. In the interview Mick details why he uses Fret-King Guitars and the genius behind world renowned inventor Trevor Wilkinson’s designs.
Here’s what Mick has to say about the Ventura 60
“It has been my belief for quite some time that Trev Wilkinson knows more about Vintage guitars and how to improve on them than nearly anyone on the planet. My STVDIO Ventura 60 is a case in point. Not only is it a true work of art but it is in fact the synergy born from intelligent design (read the specs). With three custom P-90s this baby can speak several languages from vintage, liquid, and bell-like clean to “plug-your-ears-children” profane all with the flick of the 5-way. My Ventura 60 makes me feel like exploring because I don’t sense any limitation. Truly a “one-of-a-kind” guitar and it’s mine…the only way you’ll ever get it is if you pry it from my cold dead fingers…….Oh, The weddings on Friday!”
