Called the “Ice Breakers” by Albert Collins when working with the Breakers. The Breakers, originating in Seattle, were the premier Blues and R&B group at the time whose members were renowned for their work with other bands like Cameo, Albert Collins, Chuck Berry, The Royals, and others.

The Breakers at the famous “Seattle Street Fair”. Mick told us that the minimalist rig he has in this photo consists of the Trini Lopez 335, 70s Fender Twin, Fender Crybaby, MXR Micro Chorus Ensemble. The secret tone sauce apparently was an Electro Harmonix LPB-1 power booster he’d been using since 1970.
